If these webisodes and ESPN pieces are so trivial and wasteful of the performers' time, then why bother producing them at all? <BR/><BR/>The answer is that MHC wants the flexibility to use whatever performer they want for whatever appearance they want. <BR/><BR/>There is also some suggestion -- anonymous, but credible -- that this recasting is actually taking paid work from the key Muppet performers.
